How much sunscreen will I need to bring on our trip to Mexico?
We are on a trip to Mexico in 1 week and I have a 14 year old son. He has fare skin, burns easy and gets dry skin often.
How much sunscreen will I need, how much should I slather on him before going out swimming, when to use it, and how often to re-apply? I will also bring aloe lotion and moisturizers, how much will I need to use for moisturizers also?

Bring one or two bottles of good quality sunscreen (not your general coppertone crap) I would suggest the Mary Kay sunscreen because it’s awesome, but find what you like. Put the sunscreen on at least 20 minutes before going outside (I put mine on before I get dressed). Let it dry. It will not wear off before you are out in the sun. After 30 – 45 minutes in the sun move into the shade, let your skin cool down and then reapply. Most people do not know that once sunscreen has hit 30C or 86F it begins to break down, if your skin’s hot it will not be as effective. So don’t leave your bottle in the heat either! If you go in the water, reapply after you are out and you have dried off. Remember that water works as a mirror of the sun, so if he’s in the water for an hour he should get out, dry off, have cool skin and reapply.
