Faster heat-up time than conventional coil straightening irons – It will rise to the desired temperature in less than 25 seconds from being turned on. Therefore, to save electricity and prolong lifespan, it should be turned off between uses with the Off-On switch located on the temperature control thermostat. It still saves half the time of conventional models.
Adjustable temperature(240 ºF~410ºF, 120°C – 200°C) for all hair types. For bleached, fragile, damaged and fine hair, the lower setting is advised. For normal hair and regular use, a middle range is recommended. For coarse, thick, ethnic and resistant hair in healthy condition, maximum heat on high setting is used to save time and effort.

Overall the product is good. I am still trying to notice the big difference it has on my hair than my Gold N Hot Flat iron, but I have been using this product only a few weeks and it does work pretty good. I would recommend it for those looking for a good flat iron… Works really good on African American hair…

I think this product is worth Amazon’s price, but definately not msrp. To me the flat irons I have bought from the beauty supply store for about the same price are just as good. So if you think you are getting something special, in my opinion you are not. That is not saying it is not good or worth the price (Amazon’s), just that it is not a superior product. I do like mine, I wish it opened a little wider though, and I would like the adjustable heat dial to have the temps on it.

I liked the way it smoothed my hair. I’ve had this flat iron 3 years and one of the ceramic panels has cracked causing some pulling of my hair during usage. I would of liked to know how long this product was going to last before purchasing.

I do love this iron, and I used not to like any of them.
It only takes about 10 minutes to get my hair straight and very shiny. I used everyday and my hair looks more healthy and shiny than ever. Do not buy it at the mall, buy it at amazon .com

I bought the herstyler which I got it like 60%off at Amazon but now I’m not sure if the product I bought its the original herstyler since it does not have a serial number. I been calling the 800 number and nobody answer.
