I really like this shade of lipstick. It also has a nice light feel to it.

Well this lipstick was nothing like I had expected, the color was all wrong, kinda a dark brown, it is drying on my lips, and has a funky taste to it, I have had this for over two years now and I never use it so now its going in the trash, boo hoo!

I liked the lipstick ,had nice feeling on my lips and lasted fairly long. But the color was wrong for me. I am tired of buying lipstick that ends up being the wrong color… I have a collection of colors that don’t work for me..wish there were more acurate descriptions of the colors…

I buy think bronze. I have been using it EVERYDAY since the early 90′s. I LOVE this shade, the feel, everything about it. I have tried ‘store brand’ versions, but have never been happy, this is beautiful, just the right amount of shine, i feel it is moist immediately when I put it on, and this shade has a slightly slightly slightly glittery look to it. I am NOT a glittery person, but this is just so classy and beautiful, I use it for day or night. Great natural, beautiful look. I have never once had the stick snap off the base. I was a teen when I started using it, and inexperienced with lipstick, but I have never had a problem with it. Totally worth the money and even though I use it EVERYDAY, it lasts me about 4-6 months!!!!!! Totally worth spending a little more for the quality!!!!

I used Clinique products in the late 80s and lost interest around 10 years later. Now that my skin is older, I have been having a terrible time with lipsticks, finding them too drying. I remembered all the lovely shades I used to wear by Clinique and decided to try again. And how happy I am!

Guava Stain (a midtone warm rose) is a color I used to give away when it showed up in a gift with purchase, but it is now one of my three new (old) favorites. It’s just a tiny bit darker than my own lips, so I can wear it all day every day with any outfit, and it always looks beautiful. The formulation is so smooth and forgiving, I can apply it without a mirror. When it wears off, my lips are gently stained with a peachy-pink color that looks completely natural. I don’t know if Spiced Apple (a warm cinnamon red) has been around long, but I can’t wait for the first cool day when I wear a black merino turtleneck and this brick red color! My third new favorite is Shy. Called a “midtone violet,” it looks a bit scary in the tube, but it goes on so sheer and shiny and looks like a gorgeous, neutral berry.

What I love most about these lipsticks is that they are not drying. I expect a lot from my lipsticks, as I wear them for up to 18 hours a day or more, and many brands make my lips feel like they have little cuts around them after a couple days.

I am so glad Clinique is still making this formulation and that I can still get some of my old favorite colors, like A Different Grape (pinkish grape), Think Bronze (pinky beige with a bit of gold shimmer), and Plum Brandy (warm violet with red, reminds me of ruby port). Love love love.
