The same day i received this product, i plugged it in for 1st use. I smelled plastic burning so i unplugged it and saw that the plastic had melted over the plates. It was completely defective. I contacted the seller and he insisted that i replaced the new one he sent me with one i had already owned. He emailed me a few very vulgar nasty emails so i filed a complaint with amazon and am still awaiting a refund!

I bought this last week and love it. My daughter and I have really thick, tightly curled hair (we do not have a relaxer or any other chemical treatment in our hair). It straightens our hair really fast! Of course we have to part off small sections at a time in order to straighten the hair properly. It takes about 45 minutes to do my hair (which is fast for me with the head full I have). We also use the Fantasia IC Hair Polisher Heat Protector Straightening Serum Fantasia Hair Polisher Heat Protector Straightening Serum 6 oz.. It works really well to protect our hair.
The only drawback with this item is the temperature dial print is soooo small. So if you’re half blind like I am, you better put on your glasses or get a magnifying glass to see the numbers.
If you are looking for an inexpensive yet effective straightening iron, this is the one! The temperature gauge works well and the removable comb is great. This is the best straightening iron I’ve used so far and after this one dies, I plan to stick with the Babybliss line.

I never spend a lot of $$ on flat irons, hair dryers or anything else but when my flat iron went out I HAD to get another one and fast. I asked my friend who is a hair stylist what she could recommend and she told me about BaByliss products so I ordered this one and I love it. Heats up super fast which is great for me in the mornings becasue I love to sleep in till the last min.
Took quite awhile for me to receive the product though since they were out of stock but glad it finally came. I would absolutely recommend this product!

I love this hair straightener! I bought two of them as Christmas gifts for my teenage daughters after a friend recommended it to me. That was about four years ago and they still work! This is the third one I have purchased. They heat up almost instantly and work great. I can’t imagine why anyone would want to pay for a more expensive product.
