Are sunscreen roller shades really a good solution for the home?
I have big windows that get lots of full sun. A consultant recommends "soleil" sunscreen shades that cut out a lot of the light but keep the view. They are used commercially a lot, and aren’t cheap. But they seem like a good solution.
My family had nothing but problems with them… really, they’re one more thing to break.
Have you considered interior shades or maybe even tinting the windows? Those might work, too…
